Prayer and Chaplaincy Ministry

- Isaiah 6:8
The core of the Unity Chaplain Program at UCOM is Prayer, Listening and Confidentiality. The Chaplain’s role is to “Hold spiritual space, listen, and pray.” Holding Spiritual Space is the HEART of the Program.
Chaplains pray with the congregation – not only in times of life’s challenges – but also in times of celebrating joys, gratitude, visions and goals. The Chaplain’s motto is, “Here I Am Lord.”
Chaplains are dedicated and willing individuals who hold spiritual space, are loving listeners, holding in confidence what they hear, and are available to pray with you at all of our weekend services. The Chaplain Program, which provides extensive training and ongoing support for chaplains, also offers monthly “wellness calls” to all active members and those request this.
The UCOM chaplains are always ready to pray with you and hold each in complete confidentiality.
