Carole Mahaffey

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here!

Last month when I was composing the church calendar to publish in our Sunday bulletin I noted to someone, “May is going to be a rather quiet month.”But now that May is here, it’s obvious things have picked up! I urge you to check our website and Facebook pages where you’ll see all the great activities that are going on at UCOM.

We begin our 4 Week Spring Series based on the book “The Art of Uncertainty” by New Thought Minister, David Merritt Jones. There are virtually Spiritual Growth Circles meeting each day of the week in someone’s home.

On another exciting front, we are considering a logo and name change. The voting will take place June 2nd and we are all looking forward to moving together in consciousness.

New Member Sunday is on the 19th and it’s always a special time to welcome new angels to our church home. We have Get Acquainted Potlucks, a Men’s Group meeting, an ongoing class entitled “What Jesus Said” and a Women’s Luncheon—all this month.

We truly hope you’ll take the time to come out to our park-like setting here on the border of Anchorage and experience our new Meditation Garden as well. We are so blessed and are enjoying the miracles experienced here! Come be a part of it all!

In loving service,
Rev. Carole Mahaffey
